A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Janie Greer to the University of 1
Kentucky Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on September 22, 2023, in accordance with KRS 164.131 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2023-605, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Janie Greer to 4
the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees to replace Sandra Robbin Shuffett for a 5
term expiring June 30, 2029; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Janie Greer has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
164.131; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Janie Greer to the 13
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Janie Greer of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
