A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Mary Pat Regan to the Public 1
Service Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on June 30, 2023, in accordance with KRS 278.050 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-369, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Mary Pat Regan as a 4
member of the Public Service Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Mary Pat Regan has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 278.060, being a resident of Kentucky, not less than 25 years of age, not holding 8
any official relationship to any utility, not engaging in any business or occupation 9
inconsistent with her duties as commissioner, and not being a member of any political 10
party committee; 11
NOW, THEREFORE, 12
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 13
Kentucky: 14
Section 1. The Senate confirms the reappointment of Mary Pat Regan to the 15
Public Service Commission. 16
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 17
notification of its adoption to Mary Pat Regan of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, 18
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 19
