A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Amy Roe Leenerts to the Crime 1
Victims Compensation Board. 2
WHEREAS, on June 22, 2023, in accordance with KRS 49.020 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-353, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Amy Roe Leenerts to 4
the Crime Victims Compensation Board for a term expiring July 1, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Amy Roe Leenerts has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 49.020, being a victim, or the parent, spouse, sibling, or child of a victim, as defined 8
in KRS 421.500(1), or a victim advocate as defined in KRS 421.570(1); 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Amy Roe Leenerts 13
to the Crime Victims Compensation Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Amy Roe Leenerts, of Louisville, Jefferson County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
