A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of William Henry Jones Jr. to the 1
Board of Directors of the Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance Authority. 2
WHEREAS, on April 27, 2023, in accordance with KRS 342.807 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-243, Governor Andy Beshear appointed William Henry Jones Jr. 4
to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance Authority for a 5
term expiring December 31, 2025; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, William Henry Jones Jr. has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 342.807; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of William Henry Jones 13
Jr. to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance Authority. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to William Henry Jones Jr. of Prospect, Oldham County, 16
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, Room 100, State Capitol, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
