A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Dr. Thomas Gerald Abell to the 1
Kentucky Lottery Corporation Board of Directors. 2
WHEREAS, on November 30, 2023, in accordance with KRS 154A.030 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2023-737, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Dr. Thomas 4
Gerald Abell to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation Board of Directors for a term expiring 5
November 28, 2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Dr. Thomas Gerald Abell has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 154A.030; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Dr. Thomas Gerald 13
Abell to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation Board of Directors. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Dr. Thomas Gerald Abell of Lexington, Fayette County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
