A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Leigh Ann Wiggins to the Parole 1
Board. 2
WHEREAS, on August 2, 2023, in accordance with KRS 439.320 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-446, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Leigh Ann Wiggins to the 4
Parole Board, for a term expiring August 1, 2027, to replace Bridget Skaggs Brown, 5
whose term has expired; 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Leigh Ann Wiggins has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 439.320; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Leigh Ann Wiggins 13
to the Parole Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Leigh Ann Wiggins of Utica, Daviess County, Kentucky, 16
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
