A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Darlena Jones to the Board of 1
Nursing. 2
WHEREAS, on October 31, 2023, in accordance with KRS 314.121 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2023-675, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Darlena Jones to the 4
Board of Nursing to replace Adam Ogle for a term expiring June 30, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Darlena Jones has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
314.121, representing licensed registered nurses; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Darlena Jones to the 12
Board of Nursing. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Darlena Jones of Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky, 15
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
