A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Dr. David Williams to the 1
Kentucky State Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2023, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2023-004, Commissioner Ryan F. Quarles reappointed Dr. David 4
Williams to the Kentucky State Fair Board, for a term expiring May 10, 2027. 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Dr. David Williams has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 247.090, representing agriculture or agriculture-related business; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Dr. David 12
Williams to the Kentucky State Fair Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Dr. David Williams of Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky, 15
and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
40601. 17
