A RESOLUTION honoring Lana Hogan for her service to the Legislative Research 1
Commission. 2
WHEREAS, in December of 2015, Lana Hogan began her career at the Legislative 3
Research Commission, serving as a legislative assistant providing direct support to 4
members of the Kentucky State Senate; and 5
WHEREAS, Lana Hogan has utilized her Associate of Arts, Business and 6
Secretarial Administration degree from Western Kentucky University to its fullest extent 7
as a legislative assistant. Lana Hogan has exemplified the ability to perform work in a 8
professional manner while maintaining a calm demeanor under the intense pressure of the 9
legislative environment. Lana Hogan's service in her role in the legislative process has 10
been highly regarded by all who have worked with her, including legislators, lobbyists, 11
staff from many public agencies, and most importantly, the constituents of the 12
Commonwealth; and 13
WHEREAS, Lana Hogan has been an exemplary employee of the Legislative 14
Research Commission by serving the General Assembly with dedication, 15
professionalism, and compassion; and 16
WHEREAS, Lana Hogan now begins her next chapter of public service within the 17
Kentucky Office of the Attorney General. In this capacity, Lana Hogan will expand her 18
knowledge of governmental processes; 19
NOW, THEREFORE, 20
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 21
Kentucky: 22
Section 1. The members of the Senate join Senator Whitney Westerfield and 23
Senator Stephen West in expressing their gratitude to Lana Hogan for the immeasurable 24
support she has provided to the Kentucky State Senate. 25
Section 2. The members of the Senate do hereby honor Lana Hogan, for her 26
past, current, and future contributions to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and grant her 27 UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 1376

Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this 2
