UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 1385 Page 1 of 2 XXXX 1/3/2024 8:01 AM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Glenn 1 Hall. 2 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall was born on June 10, 1927, the son of Richard Hall and 3 Flossie Sowards Hall; and 4 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall served his Lord and Savior as an elder minister for 5 Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church for more than four decades; and 6 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall was a prosperous businessman with successful pursuits in 7 the insurance industry and in the cleaning and chemical supply industry; and 8 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall was a well-known fixture and beloved member of his 9 community of Pikeville; and 10 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall passed from this earthly existence to be with his Lord on 11 October 4, 2023, and was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy Ruth Coleman 12 Hall, and his daughter, Glenda Ison; and 13 WHEREAS, Glenn Hall is survived by his son-in-law, Tom Ison; grandchildren, 14 Dr. Keith (Renee) Ison and Kristi (Ralph II) Stanley; sisters, Loraine Belcher, Phyllis 15 Johnson, Betty Smallwood, and Jenny Beverly; and great-grandchildren, Heather 16 Makenzie Ison, Isabella Kate Ison, Nicholas Keith Ison, Taylor Brook Stanley, and Ralph 17 Stanley III; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, 19 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20 Kentucky: 21 Section 1. The members of the Senate hereby extend their most profound 22 sympathy upon the passing of Glenn Hall to his family and friends, and, indeed, to all 23 those who have had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. 24 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 25 memory of Glenn Hall. 26 Section 3.
