A JOINT RESOLUTION relating to contingent appropriations. 1
WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the General Assembly to monitor the 2
spending of state funds for the good of the Commonwealth; and 3
WHEREAS, with that responsibility in mind, certain appropriations in Ky. Acts ch. 4
175, Part I, G., 8., (20), (d) were contingent upon approval by the General Assembly; 5
NOW, THEREFORE, 6
Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 7
ď˘Section 1. The contingent appropriation of General Fund moneys in the amount 8
of $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025-2026 in Ky. Acts ch. 175, Part I, G., 8., (20), (d) to 9
establish an Innovations in Early Childhood Education Delivery Grant Program is not 10
authorized by the General Assembly to be released by the Office of State Budget 11
Director. 12
