A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Sharon Porter Robinson to the 1
Kentucky Board of Education. 2
WHEREAS, on August 6, 2024, in accordance with KRS 156.029 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-531, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Sharon Porter Robinson 4
to the Kentucky Board of Education for a term expiring April 14, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Sharon Porter Robinson has been determined to meet the requirements 7
of KRS 156.029; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Sharon Porter 12
Robinson to the Kentucky Board of Education. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Sharon Porter Robinson of Louisville, Jefferson County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
