A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Larry M. Hayes to the University 1
of Louisville Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.821 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-304, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Larry M. Hayes to the 4
University of Louisville Board of Trustees to replace Michael Rogers for a term expiring 5
January 13, 2030; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Larry M. Hayes has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
164.821; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Larry M. Hayes to 13
the University of Louisville Board of Trustees. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Larry M. Hayes of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, 16
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
