A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Laura Beasley as an 1
administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 2
WHEREAS, on April 16, 2024, in accordance with KRS 342.230 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-284, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Laura Beasley as an 4
administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims to replace Kimberly 5
O'Bryan for a term expiring December 31, 2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Laura Beasley has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
342.230; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Laura Beasley as an 13
administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Laura Beasley of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, 16
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
