A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Kevin Fields to the Kentucky 1
Agricultural Development Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2024, in accordance with KRS 248.707 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-004, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Kevin Fields to the 4
Kentucky Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring July 31, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Kevin Fields has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
248.707, representing active farmers; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Kevin Fields to the 12
Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Kevin Fields of Berea, Madison County, Kentucky, and to 15
Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
