A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Fred Shortridge to the Fish and 1
Wildlife Resources Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on January 20, 2025, in accordance with KRS 150.022 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2025-017, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Fred Shortridge to the 4
Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission for a term expiring December 31, 2026; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Fred Shortridge has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
150.022, representing the Eighth Commission District; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Fred Shortridge to 12
the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Fred Shortridge of Mount Sterling, Montgomery County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Suite 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
40601. 17
