A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Brandon Thomas Garnett to the 1
Kentucky State Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2024, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-002, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Brandon Thomas 4
Garnett to the Kentucky State Fair Board for a term expiring May 17, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Brandon Thomas Garnett has been determined to meet the 7
requirements of KRS 247.090, representing plant and crop producers; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Brandon Thomas 12
Garnett to the Kentucky State Fair Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Brandon Thomas Garnett of Hopkinsville, Christian 15
County, Kentucky, and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, 16
Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
