A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Eston Glover to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission Executive Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-571, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Eston Glover to the 4
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission Executive Committee; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Eston Glover has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, having the same level of education, training, and professional experience as 8
would be required to serve in the role of chief executive officer or board member of an 9
investor-owned, cooperative, or municipal electric utility; 10
NOW, THEREFORE, 11
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 12
Kentucky: 13
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Eston Glover to the 14
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission Executive Committee for a term expiring 15
July 1, 2027, in accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 5. 16
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 17
notification of its adoption to Eston Glover of Elkton, Todd County, Kentucky, and to 18
Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 19
