A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Stephanie 1
Hamilton. 2
WHEREAS, Stephanie Hamilton was a pillar in the Bracken County community for 3
over 20 years; and 4
WHEREAS, until her passing in October 2024, Stephanie Hamilton was the owner 5
and operator of long-standing community business, Brooksville Child Care and Learning 6
Center, an educational center for children aged newborn to 11 years, where she left a 7
lasting impression on each child in her care; and 8
WHEREAS, not only was Stephanie Hamilton a local business owner and educator, 9
she was a very involved community volunteer. She spent many years as a member of the 10
Fairview Christian Church, the Bracken County Chamber of Commerce, the Bracken 11
County Schools Family Resources and Youth Services Center Advisory Council, the 12
Bracken County Schools Site-Based Decision Making Council, the Bracken County 13
Schools Parent-Teacher Organization, and as former booster club president of the 14
Bracken County High School Baseball team, for which her husband, Mark, coached and 15
both sons, Jacob and Joshua, played; and 16
WHEREAS, Stephanie Hamilton was also an avid supporter of many local clubs, 17
sports teams, and initiatives; and 18
WHEREAS, when Stephanie Hamilton passed away on October 21, 2024, she left a 19
void in the community that many believe can never be filled. She lived a life of service, 20
dedication, and love for all things faith, family, friends, children, and community. So 21
much so that the Bracken County Chamber of Commerce recently named its annual 22
Community Impact Awards Citizen of the Year award in honor of her; and 23
WHEREAS, Stephanie Hamilton was known for her engaging personality, wit, and 24
kindness and will forever be remembered as an incredible public servant, educator, and 25
community-minded leader; 26

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 1
Kentucky: 2
Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sympathy upon the 3
passing of Stephanie Hamilton. 4
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 5
memory of Stephanie Hamilton. 6
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 7
Resolution to Senator Shelley Funke Frommeyer for delivery to the family. 8
