A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Keith Murt to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on September 10, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2024-611, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Keith Murt to 4
the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Keith Murt has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, representing the interests of businesses or entities engaged in activities related 8
to the mining, milling, conversion, enrichment, or fabrication of nuclear fuel or involved 9
in the remediation of past enrichment of nuclear fuels in the Commonwealth; 10
NOW, THEREFORE, 11
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 12
Kentucky: 13
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Keith Murt to the 14
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2026, in 15
accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 5. 16
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 17
notification of its adoption to Keith Murt of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, and 18
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 19
