A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Caryl Pfeiffer to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-571, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Caryl Pfeiffer to the 4
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Caryl Pfeiffer has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, representing the purchasing or sale of fossil fuels; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Caryl Pfeiffer to the 12
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2026, in 13
accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 5. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Caryl Pfeiffer of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
