A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Darrell "Neil" Denton to the 1
Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2024, in accordance with KRS 248.707 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-004, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Darrell "Neil" 4
Denton to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring July 31, 5
2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Darrell "Neil" Denton has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 248.707, representing livestock, grain, tobacco, hay, and forage farmers; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Darrell "Neil" 13
Denton to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Darrell "Neil" Denton of LaCenter, Ballard County, 16
Kentucky, and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
