A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Brian Weisker to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-571, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Brian Weisker to the 4
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Brian Weisker has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, representing businesses engaged in the transportation or distribution of natural 8
gas; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Brian Weisker to the 13
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2025, in 14
accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 5. 15
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 16
notification of its adoption to Brian Weisker of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North 17
Carolina, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 18
