A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Courtney French Bourne to the 1
Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on June 13, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.005 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-423, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Courtney French 4
Bourne to the Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for a term 5
expiring April 14, 2030; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Courtney French Bourne has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 164.005; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Courtney French 13
Bourne to the Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Courtney French Bourne of Owenton, Owen County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
