AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 40:971.1(A), relative to the crime of false representation2
regarding imitation or counterfeit controlled dangerous substances; to prohibit the3
transportation or delivery of an imitation or counterfeit controlled dangerous4
substance; and to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 40:971.1(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7
ยง971.1. Prohibited acts; false representation8
A. It shall be unlawful for any person to produce, manufacture, distribute,9
or dispense, transport, or deliver any substance which is represented to be a10
controlled dangerous substance and which is an imitation controlled dangerous11
substance, or any controlled dangerous substance which is a counterfeit controlled12
dangerous substance.13
