HLS 10RS-1219 ORIGINAL Page 1 of 2 Regular Session, 2010 HOUSE BILL NO. 366 BY REPRESENTATIVE FANNIN APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the matter of "Lawrence Willis, et al. v. State of Louisiana, et al." AN ACT1 To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2 2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Lawrence Willis,3 individually and on behalf of the minor children, Lacey Elizabeth Willis and Laura4 Elizabeth Willis v. State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and5 Development"; and to provide for related matters.6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7 Section 1. The sum of Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty and No/1008 ($30,750.00) Dollars in favor of plaintiffs, Lawrence Willis, individually and on behalf of9 the minor children, Lacey Elizabeth Willis and Laura Elizabeth Willis; and Nine Thousand10 Six Hundred Twenty-Five and 54/100 ($9,625.54) Dollars in favor of defendant/plaintiff in11 cross-claim, Louisiana Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance; both amounts to be apportioned and12 paid as follows: Seven Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($750.00) Dollars to Lawrence Willis and13 his attorney, William Rick Warren; Thirty Thousand and No/100 ($30,000.00) Dollars to14 Lacey Willis and her attorney, William Rick Warren; and Nine Thousand Six Hundred15 Twenty-Five and 54/100 ($9,625.54) Dollars to Louisiana Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance16 Company and its attorney, Payne Williams; is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund17 of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment18 in the suit entitled "Lawrence Willis, individually and on behalf of the minor children, Lacey19 Elizabeth Willis and Laura Elizabeth Willis v.
