APPROPRIATIONS: Provides funding to the St. Bernard Parish School Board to assist
with the payment of Office of Group Benefits insurance premiums for certain retirees
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2
2011 to the St. Bernard Parish School Board for payment of insurance premiums for3
certain retirees; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. The sum of Six Million and No/100 ($6,000,000.00) Dollars is hereby6
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 to7
the St. Bernard Parish School Board for payment of Office of Group Benefits insurance8
premiums for retiree benefits for the period from July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011.9
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2010; if vetoed by the governor10
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,11
2010, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.12
