REAL ESTATE: Prohibits certain pest control operators from providing services
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 3:3370.1, relative to pest control inspections; to prohibit pest control operators2
in certain situations from performing work on homes the operators have personally3
inspected; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 3:3370.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง3370.1. Pest control inspections; prohibition7
No licensed structural pest control operator who inspects a dwelling which8
has an act of sale pending shall advertise, solicit, or enter into a standard contract to9
perform structural pest control services, relating to the results of the inspection, on10
the home upon which he has performed the inspection.11
