Regular Session, 2010 HOUSE BILL NO. 598 BY REPRESENTATIVE SMILEY WILDLIFE & FISHERIES DEP: Requires the establishment of an auxiliary enforcement unit for the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 56:69.3(A), relative to the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries,2 auxiliary enforcement program; to require appointment of auxiliary enforcement3 agents by the secretary of the department; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 56:69.3(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6 ยง69.3. Commissions and commissioning7 A. The secretary may shall establish an auxiliary force to assist the8 department's enforcement division and shall commission auxiliary agents under the9 provisions of this Subpart to supplement the efforts of wildlife agents to the degree10 necessary to adequately protect the state's wildlife and fishery resources.
