HOUSE BILL NO. 677

APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT:  Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
the State of La. in the suit entitled "Jacqueline Bonvillain v. State of La., et al."
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2
2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Jacqueline3
Bonvillain v. State of Louisiana, through the Department of Transportation and4
Development"; and to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The sum of Fifteen Thousand and  No/100 ($15,000.00) Dollars is hereby7
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 to8
be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Jacqueline Bonvillain v. State of9
Louisiana, through the Department of Transportation and Development", bearing Number10
66,833, Division "E", on the docket of the Twenty-Ninth Judicial District Court, parish of11
St. Charles, state of Louisiana.12
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2010; if vetoed by the governor13
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,14
2010, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 15 HLS 10RS-523	ORIGINAL
