Present law prohibit well drilling from commencing until a sign is posted on the derrick, and subsequently on the well if producing, stating ownership and designation of the well, name of the lease, section, township, range, and the serial number under which the permit was issued. Proposed law would require the same information to be posted on roads accessing the exploration or production site. (Amends R.S. 30:4(C)(8))
