HLS 10RS-345 ORIGINAL Page 1 of 2 Regular Session, 2010 HOUSE BILL NO. 93 BY REPRESENTATIVE BALDONE APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against DOTD in the suit entitled "Robin Bergeron, et al v. State of Louisiana, et al" AN ACT1 To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2 2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Robin Bergeron,3 as tutor of the minor child, Jared Bergeron v. State of Louisiana, through the4 Department of Transportation and Development and Eric King"; and to provide for5 related matters.6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7 Section 1. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand and No/100 ($200,000.00) Dollars8 is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year9 2010-2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Robin Bergeron, as10 tutor of the minor child, Jared Bergeron v. State of Louisiana, through the Department of11 Transportation and Development and Eric King", bearing Number 101,144 on the docket of12 the Seventeenth Judicial District Court, parish of Lafourche, state of Louisiana.13 Section 2.
