ADMINISTRATION DIVISION: Directs the disaster recovery unit of the office of
community development in the division of administration to provide funding for the
South La. Economic Council in FY 2010-2011
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON1
To direct the disaster recovery unit of the office of community development in the division2
of administration to allocate funding from their Fiscal Year 2010-2011 appropriation3
to the South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC) in the amount of $300,000.4
WHEREAS, the SLEC is a not-for-profit economic development agency established5
to support regional economic development in the parishes of Assumption, Lafourche, St.6
Mary, and Terrebonne.7
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby8
direct the disaster recovery unit of the office of community development in the division of9
administration to allocate funding from their Fiscal Year 2010-2011 appropriation to the10
South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC) in the amount of $300,000.11
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted12
to the director of the office of community development in the division of administration.13
