AN ACT1
To authorize and provide for a cooperative endeavor agreement for use of certain state2
property in Orleans Parish with the city of New Orleans; to provide for an effective3
date; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. The commissioner of administration shall have the authority to enter into6
a cooperative endeavor agreement with the city of New Orleans to allow the former7
Louisiana State Supreme Court site and the former state office building site located at 3258
Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana, to be utilized as the new civil district court site and9
as a municipal complex in exchange for consideration proportionate to the appraised value10
of the property.11
Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not12
signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature13
by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If14
vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become15
effective on the day following such approval.16
