AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 22:1, relative to the Louisiana Insurance Code; to provide with2
respect to citing the Title; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. R.S. 22:1 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 5
ยง1. Louisiana Insurance Code6
This Title shall be known and may shall be cited as the "Louisiana Insurance7
Code".8
The original instrument and the following digest, which constitutes no part
of the legislative instrument, were prepared by Cheryl Horne.
DIGEST
Present law requires Title 22 to be known and may be cited as the "Louisiana Insurance
Code".
Proposed law requires Title 22 to be known and shall be cited as the "Louisiana Insurance
Code".
Effective August 15, 2010.
