To enact Code of Criminal Procedure Article 883.2(C), relative to restitution to victims; to2
provide for certain procedures; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. Code of Criminal Procedure Article 883.2(C) is hereby enacted to read5
as follows: 6

C. The court shall order that all restitution payments be made by the9
defendant to the victim through the court's designated intermediary, and in no10
case shall the court order the defendant to deliver or send a restitution payment11
directly to a victim, unless the victim consents.12
