(gov sig) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 33:4076.1, relative to the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans; to2 prohibit unauthorized firearms or other explosive devices on board property; to3 provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.4 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 33:4076.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง4076.1. Firearms or explosive devices prohibited8 Firearms or other explosive devices are prohibited, unless specifically9 authorized, in any structure, building, property, or vehicle belonging to or10 designated for the benefit of use by the board.11 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not12 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature13 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
