AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 15:603(10), relative to DNA detection of sexual and violent2
offenders; to provide for the collection of DNA samples from certain offenders; to3
provide for certain crimes requiring the collection of DNA samples; and to provide4
for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 15:603(10) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7
ยง603. Definitions8
For purposes of this Chapter, the following terms shall have the following9
meanings:10

(10) "Other specified offense" means a commission of the following:12
(a) A violation of R.S. 14:34.2 through 34.5.13
(b) A violation of R.S. 14:35 through 37.14
(c) A violation of R.S. 14:37.3.15
(d) A violation of R.S. 14:38.16
(e) A violation of R.S. 14:38.2.17
(f) A violation of R.S. 14:40.2.18
(g) A violation of R.S. 14:67.16.19
(g) (h) A violation of R.S. 14:80.1.20
(i) A violation of R.S. 14:81.4.21
(h) (j) A violation of R.S. 14:82.22
(i) (k) A violation of R.S. 14:83 through 83.1.23
(j) (l) A violation of R.S. 14:83.3 through 83.4.24
