POSTSECONDARY ED. Provides relative to certain reporting requirements of the Board
of Regents. (8/15/10)
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 17:3168, relative to postsecondary education; to provide relative2
to certain reporting requirements of the Board of Regents; and to provide for related3
matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 17:3168 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6
ยง3168. Reporting7
Beginning in 2010, the The Board of Regents shall submit a written report8
to the Senate and House Committees on Education, not later than January thirty-first9
and July thirty-first of each year, on the status of statewide articulation and transfer10
of credit across all educational institutions in Louisiana as provided in this Chapter,11
and shall provide additional information as may be periodically requested by12

DIGEST
Present law requires the Board of Regents, beginning in 2010, to submit a written report to
the Senate and House Committees on Education, not later than January thirty-first and July
thirty-first of each year, on the status of statewide articulation and transfer of credit across
all educational institutions in Louisiana.
Proposed law deletes the outdated time reference and additionally requires the board to
provide additional information as may be periodically requested by such committees.
Effective August 15, 2010.
