AN ACT1
To repeal R.S. 15:308(C) and 574.22, relative to the Louisiana Risk Review Panel; to2
abolish the panel; and to provide for related matters. 3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. R.S. 15:308(C) and 574.22 are hereby repealed. 5

DIGEST
Present law provides for membership, powers, and duties of the Louisiana Risk Review
Panel which evaluates the risk of danger to society of persons to be released from
confinement.
Proposed law abolishes the Louisiana Risk Review Panel.
Effective August 15, 2010.
