AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 32:473.1(D), relative to motor vehicles; to provide relative to the rotation call2
list in connection with removal of an abandoned motor vehicle; and to provide for3
related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 32:473.1(D) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6

D. Removal of an abandoned motor vehicle in accordance with this9
Section by a tow truck operator shall not be considered a rotation call by the10
appropriate law enforcement agency as set forth in R.S. 32:1735(C). The tow11
truck operator shall not lose its place in the rotation call list for the recovery of12
an abandoned motor vehicle in accordance with this Section. Law enforcement13
agencies shall maintain records of the number of abandoned motor vehicles14
removed.15
