SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 6

A RESOLUTION
To amend and readopt Senate Rule 13.1(A)(2), (6), (7), and (16) of the Rules of Order of the
Senate, to increase the membership of certain standing committees from seven to
nine members.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana amends and
readopts Senate Rule 13.1(A)(2), (6), (7) and (16) of the Rules of Order of the Senate to read
as follows:
Rule 13.1.  Standing committees
A. There shall be seventeen standing committees of the Senate. The duty of
each committee shall be to take into consideration all such subjects as properly
pertain to the subjects and purposes assigned to each and which may be referred to
it by the Senate. Committee members shall be appointed and may be removed by the
President. The seventeen standing committees of the Senate shall be listed as below,
and the membership of each committee shall be in the number set forth after the
name of the committee:

(2) Commerce, Consumer Protection and International Affairs Committee,
seven nine members
