Requests that Bd. of Regents study how to meet education, economic, and workforce needs of the Shreveport-Bossier region, including through establishment of Southern Univ. Law Center campus in Shreveport
Requests that BESE and the Recovery School District study jointly the feasibility of building a high school at the site of the former Alfred Lawless High School in New Orleans and account for the use of hurricane recovery funds
Requests that the Board of Regents, Dept. of Revenue, and La. Workforce Commission continue to work cooperatively relative to the reporting and sharing of certain data
Prohibits assignment of letter grades to schools or school districts or any other implementation of the school and district accountability system for a school year in which there is a declared natural disaster
Provides relative to exemptions from laws, rules, and regulations applicable to public school boards and the schools and employees under the jurisdiction of each with certain exceptions
Requests each public institution of postsecondary education to report by December thirty-first annually certain information to the legislative education committees and on its website
