11	11		To enact R.S. 18:1276.1 and to repeal R.S. 18:1276, relative to congressional districts; to2
12	12		provide for the redistricting of Louisiana's congressional districts; to provide with3
13	13		respect to positions and offices, other than congressional, which are based upon4
14	14		congressional districts; to provide for the effectiveness; and to provide for related5
15	15		matters.6
16	16		Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
17	17		Section 1. R.S. 18:1276.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8
18	18		§1276.1. Congressional districts

20	20		Louisiana shall be divided
21	21		into six congressional districts, and the qualified
22	22		10
23	23		electors of each district shall elect one representative to the United States House of11
24	24		Representatives. The districts shall be composed as follows:12
