HOUSE BILL NO. 22
BY REPRESENTATIVE EDWARDS
APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT:  Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
DOTD in the matter of "Brittany J. Robertson, et al v. Louisiana Farm Bureau
Insurance Company, et al"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2011-2
2012 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Brittany J.3
Robertson v. Louisiana Farm Bureau Insurance Company and Randy Baker"; and to4
provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The sum of Four Thousand and No/100 ($4,000.00) Dollars is hereby7
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 to8
be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Brittany J. Robertson v. Louisiana9
Farm Bureau Insurance Company and Randy Baker", bearing Number 120,780, Division E,10
on the docket of the Twenty-First Judicial District Court, parish of East Baton Rouge, state11
of Louisiana.12
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2011; if vetoed by the governor13
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,14
2011, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 15 HLS 11RS-320	ORIGINAL
