HOUSE BILL NO. 66

APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT:  Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
the state in the matter of "Bonita Woods v. Calvin Williams, et al"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2011-2
2012 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Bonita Woods v.3
Calvin Williams, Larry L. Musgrove, Kansas City Southern Railway and the State4
of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development"; and to provide for5
related matters.6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. The sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 ($6,500.00) Dollars8
is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year9
2011-2012 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Bonita Woods v.10
Calvin Williams, Larry L. Musgrove, Kansas City Southern Railway and the State of11
Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development", bearing Number 48,747 on the12
docket of the Third Judicial District Court, parish of Lincoln, state of Louisiana.13
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2011; if vetoed by the governor14
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,15
2011, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 16 HLS 11RS-599	ORIGINAL
