COMMENDATIONS: Commends Kelsi Crain, Miss Louisiana 2010
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON1
To commend Kelsi Crain for her outstanding accomplishments and for proudly representing2
the state as Miss Louisiana 2010.3
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to congratulate Kelsi Crain, a native of Monroe, who4
was crowned Miss Louisiana in June of 2010; and5
WHEREAS, a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School, Ms. Crain is a student at the6
University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), where she is majoring in kinesiology; and7
WHEREAS, Miss Crain, who was also crowned Miss ULM 2010, has earned8
numerous scholastic honors, including receipt of the University of Louisiana Academic9
Scholarship and the Thomas H. and Mayme P. Scott Foundation Scholarship, being named10
to the President's List, and membership in Alpha Lambda Delta, the Kinesiology Honor11
Society, and Phi Epsilon Kappa; and12
WHEREAS, a talented dancer, Miss Crain chose Heart for the Arts as her platform;13
and14
WHEREAS, Kelsi Crain merits a sincere measure of commendation for the honor15
she brings to her community and the state of Louisiana with her singular achievements.16
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby17
commend Kelsi Crain for her outstanding accomplishments and for proudly representing the18
state as Miss Louisiana 2010 and does hereby extend to her best wishes for continued19

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted1
to Kelsi Crain.2
