HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON NO. 44
BY REPRESENTATIVE HOFFMANN
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON
To commend Kelsi Crain for her outstanding accomplishments and for proudly representing
the state as Miss Louisiana 2010.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to congratulate Kelsi Crain, a native of Monroe, who
was crowned Miss Louisiana in June of 2010; and
WHEREAS, a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School, Ms. Crain is a student at the
University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), where she is majoring in kinesiology; and
WHEREAS, Miss Crain, who was also crowned Miss ULM 2010, has earned
numerous scholastic honors, including receipt of the University of Louisiana Academic
Scholarship and the Thomas H. and Mayme P. Scott Foundation Scholarship, being named
to the President's List, and membership in Alpha Lambda Delta, the Kinesiology Honor
Society, and Phi Epsilon Kappa; and
WHEREAS, a talented dancer, Miss Crain chose Heart for the Arts as her platform;
and
WHEREAS, Kelsi Crain merits a sincere measure of commendation for the honor
she brings to her community and the state of Louisiana with her singular achievements.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend Kelsi Crain for her outstanding accomplishments and for proudly representing the
state as Miss Louisiana 2010 and does hereby extend to her best wishes for continued
success and happiness in her future endeavors. ENROLLEDHCR NO. 44

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Kelsi Crain.
