Regular Session, 2011 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 153 BY SENATORS MURRAY, HEITMEIER AND MORRELL AND REPRESENTATIVES ABRAMSON, ARNOLD, AUSTIN BADON, BISHOP, BROSSETT, HENDERSON, LEGER AND MORENO AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 38:2212(A)(8), relative to the letting of public contracts by the New Orleans2 Sewerage and Water Board; to provide for advertisement and letting of lowest3 responsible bidder; to provide for inclusion of addenda containing pricing4 information; and to provide for related matters.5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7 Section 1. R.S. 38:2212(A)(8) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 §2212. Advertisement and letting to lowest responsible bidder; public work;9 electronic bidding; participation in mentor-protégé program;10 exemptions11 A. * * *12 (8)(a) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary and in addition to13 any other requirements provided for in this Subsection, the Acknowledgment14 of Addenda of the bid form provided for in R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b)(ii) for the15 public bid of public works projects conducted by the New Orleans Sewerage16 and Water Board shall also include attachment of the addenda if pricing17 information is contained therein and the addenda specifies attachment.18 (b) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary and in addition to any19 other requirements provided for in this Subsection, the Acknowledgment of20 Addenda of the bid form for public works projects conducted by the New21 Orleans Sewerage and Water Board shall also include attachment of the22 addenda if pricing information is contained therein and the addenda specifies23 attachment.24 * * *25 Section 2.
