AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 33:4580(B)(1)(b) and (3), relative to the Vernon Parish Arena2
District; to provide relative to governance; and to provide for related matters.3

Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 33:4580(B)(1)(b) and (3) are hereby amended and reenacted to read6
as follows: 7
ยง4580. Vernon Parish Arena District; creation; jurisdiction; purposes; board;8
powers9

B.(1) The district shall be governed by a board of commissioners, hereby11
created and referred to as the "board". The board shall be composed of five members12
to be appointed as follows:13

(b) The mayor of Leesville president of the West Louisiana Forestry15
Board.16

(3) The president of the police jury and the mayor of Leesville president of18
the West Louisiana Forestry Board shall serve terms concurrent with that of their19

elected offices. The remaining members shall serve terms concurrent with the terms1
of the legislative delegation.2
